Rain Cements Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rain Industries Limited, owns the Priya brand. It makes cement at two integrated plants, in Suryapet, Telangana and Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh (priyacement.com). Priya bags reach Chennai by road from those plants, which is one reason its rate moves with freight.
Rain now sells its 53-grade OPC as “MAXLOAD OPC 53 Grade”. A bag marked MAXLOAD with IS 269 and 53 is the same Priya OPC 53 we list. Rain publishes its own strength test results for MAXLOAD; we quote only the IS 269 minimum (53 MPa at 28 days).
