Who Makes Tulsyan TMT
Tulsyan TMT bars ("Tulsyan Rebars") are made by Tulsyan NEC Ltd, a Chennai company established in 1947 and known as the National Engineering Company until the early 1990s. Its corporate office is at Apex Plaza, Nungambakkam, Chennai. The company describes itself as the first licensed rolling mill in South India to produce TMT bars.
Tulsyan NEC says its bars are rolled from blooms in fully automatic mills, with a thermo-mechanical process certified by TEMPCORE of Belgium, and are BIS certified to IS 1786.

Tulsyan TMT is supplied as Fe550D to IS 1786:2008. Grade limits and the book weight per bar are the same for every Fe550D brand, so they sit in one table: bar weights and IS 1786 tolerance. Ask for the mill test certificate with your load.
