Sangam, Tulsyan and PFI are sold at one flat rate for every size; for ARS and Arun Plus, 8mm, 10mm and 32mm bars cost a little more per kg. Steel estimates use the standard (book) weight per bar — for example, 10.75 kg for a 12 m length of 12 mm bar. Customer billing is based on the supplier's weight.

We sell five Fe550D TMT brands: ARS CRS Fe550D (we are an ARS dealer) and Arun Plus, PFI Thirumala, Sangam and Tulsyan (as a distributor). We don't currently supply Tata, JSW or Vizag.
TMT steel bars (IS 1786) attract 18% GST in India. Our steel prices are quoted per kg excluding GST, so 18% GST is added on the GST invoice (HSN code 7214 for TMT bars), and transport is charged extra.
Steel manufacturers generally sell through distributors rather than direct to retail buyers. Building Needs is an ARS dealer and a distributor for Arun Plus, PFI Thirumala, Sangam and Tulsyan, so you can order any of these brands from us with a GST invoice (minimum 1 ton).
