What Maha PPC is
Maha Cement is the brand of My Home Industries Private Limited. Its main plant is Mellacheruvu Cement Works in Suryapet District, Telangana, with another plant at Yanakandla (Kurnool district) and a grinding unit at Vizag in Andhra Pradesh. My Home lists Tamil Nadu among the nine states it sells in.
My Home calls Maha PPC a premium blended cement, made by grinding high-quality clinker with superfine processed fly ash. It says the fly ash is drawn from selected ESP chambers of the power plant and carried in closed bulkers, and that the cement is ground in closed-circuit ball mills with high-efficiency separators.
Maha’s own test table refers to IS 1489 (Part 1) in its 1991 edition; the current edition is 2015. Both set the same 33 MPa minimum at 28 days for PPC. Check the code printed on your bags.

Maha PPC questions we get
Both are fly-ash PPC from My Home Industries. HD+ is the brand’s premium PPC: My Home says it uses clinker high in C3S and selected fly ash with high reactive silica, and calls it a concrete special cement. Maha PPC is the standard PPC. Compare today’s rates in the table above.

Yes: plaster, brick and block work are standard PPC uses, and My Home lists Maha PPC for general construction. Keep it wet-cured for at least 10 days, as PPC gains strength more slowly than OPC.
