What UltraTech PPC is
UltraTech PPC is the Portland Pozzolana Cement of UltraTech Cement Ltd. UltraTech makes it by grinding high-quality clinker with fly ash and gypsum, and its cement overview gives the fly ash share as 15–35%.
UltraTech’s PPC page says plainly that there are no grades in PPC, and compares its strength to OPC 33 grade. It lists better workability, less bleeding, fewer cracks and lower permeability among the benefits.
UltraTech also states the limit: PPC is not the cement for jobs that need high early strength, such as prestressed, slip-form or precast work. That is the one place to ask your engineer before choosing it.

UltraTech PPC questions we get
Neither. UltraTech’s own page says there are no grades in PPC; it compares the strength to OPC 33. Grades 33, 43 and 53 apply to OPC under IS 269.
UltraTech says PPC is not for work that needs high early strength — prestressed, slip-form and precast concrete. For those, follow your engineer’s specification.
