M20 Ready Mix Concrete (20 N/mm² at 28 days) is the minimum grade specified by ISI:456 for all reinforced cement concrete (RCC) work in mild exposure conditions — the standard for residential construction across Tamil Nadu. M20 RMC is used for slabs, beams, columns, staircase, lintels, and foundations of individual houses and low-rise buildings. Important Notes
⚠️ M20 is the minimum ISI:456 grade for RCC in mild exposure. For marine, coastal, or chemically aggressive environments, M25 or higher is mandatory. Consult your structural engineer for the specified grade.
